I was just browsing the Transworld site and peeped a video of Jordan Hoffart skating the gap, above the video is a little note indicating an AM contest to be held at Carlsbad the 3rd? Sounds pretty dope, peep the Hoffart video while you wait.

DVS and LRG did a collabo on the latest DVS Munition CT shoe. We just got a couple in stock so those of you trying to get on the fresh kick you better get in here quick. The CT is a nice shoe. LRG team rider Chico Brenes put a little bit of his own love into this shoe stylin it with some of that flannel every ones been rocking.

Lots of new decks, trucks, and wheels came in today. This will most likely be the last big order in the Bowie shop. Deluxe posted a message on their facebook page about a new Busenitz part. I searched and found it. Check out his part in the Adidas Euro video.

Starting now all shoes are 25%, any brand any model, you choose. Easy enough right.

Gravette’s got him self a some custom Troopers, rocking Creature fiend green and black. That and his first pro graphic on the sole of the shoe as well.

We also got in a bunch more new decks and some completes for $89.99. Don’t forget we are moving to College Park in the beginning of May so for those of you with cars you better still be creepin velo; that or hassle your parents as often as possible.

New in the shop is the DVS Daewon CT Almost, the latest pro model from Daewon Song. The shoes come in a doughnut box and includes a Daewon handboard.

Looks like the park is coming together, the guys putting it together have put some of the angle iron on the ledges and banks, park looks to be decently fun, not really an all day sort of thing but still nice to have something indoors for the rain. You can check out a video of them skating the park on there site: http://www.goodvibescentral.com/. It appears like they are shooting for a mid-March/early-April opening date. I will keep you guys posted on when the park actually gets opened.

Not sure if anyone has heard about this but thanks to facebook and creeping, I have. The park is indoors, doesn’t look all that huge, but it looks like it could be pretty fun and as long as the ramp quality isn’t terrible it will be worth hitting up on occasion. Park will be in the Mall or near it? I really don’t know, there site is a piece of shit and I can’t get any real information off it other than pictures. Place is called GVC, good vibes central, once the place is open I will post up some more information, until then peep some of the images of the in progress park.

Anyone that hasn’t been to the Real skateboards site in a while I suggest you drop by. The site has been updating regularly with a photo series called The Manifest. They have about half of the team up with interview shots and really high resolution shots of skating and good times. Torgerson and Ramondetta especially have really good spreads. Look forward to Busenitz being added this Monday.

After a cold start to the week it looks like warm weather its on its way. This should be a great weekend to go skating and we got some nice new product. I know most of us spent some time this weekend watching DVS’s Battle At The Berrics. Hopefully I’m not the only one stoked on DVS these days. I am very sad to pass on the news that Van Wastell passed away today. The details have not been reported. Our hearts go out to the Wastell and DLXSF families.

We just received some new product from Fallen. We received T-shirts, pants, long sleeve shirts, hats, backpacks, and socks. The Back to School Sale is still taking place but I don’t know for how much longer. So come up to the shop before the sales are gone.

Long time friend and fellow shredder Robb Estberg is moving out of the country tomorrow evening. Be sure to hit him up show your love and let him know he will be missed. Robb was one of the original shredders of Velocity and will always remain a part of this team no matter how far away he is from us.

I know I can speak for myself and everyone on the team that were gonna miss that mark, and hopefully some of us will go visit him and not bluff. Hope the sesh is epic in Europe and be sure to keep us up-to-date on that footage Robb.

That’s right people we are having a big video premier of the latest film from Black Box Distribution: “Fallen: Ride the Sky.” Velocity as well as a Skatology, 3 Rideshop, Rascals, Wavedancer and Revival are hosting the event at the Senator Theater on August 31st at 6:00 PM. Entry into the event is only $6 dollars, which is less than what you would pay to see a feature film and lets face it you care more about skateboarding than some romantic comedy with your girlfriend or something.

For those of you that haven’t seen the trailer to the film feel free to creep onto the Fallen website and peep the epicness to get you excited for the premier, but I doubt any of you haven’t seen the trailer…

Now for those of you rejoining us because I am sure you went and re-watched the trailer anyway, be sure when you go to the event to let us know your here from Velocity, the proceeds are going to be split amongst the shops and while we know who most of you are we would like to at least try and get a head count. Also know that the more of you that come to the premier the more copies of the video we will get in the shop so best bring your peeps so you can get a copy for yourself when it’s released onto DVD.

I realize this has been up for like over a week but I personally wasn’t going to post it because I wanted the Derek Flier to get all the love it needed especially since we put the event together so late. MTV Star Ryan Sheckler has just recently broke his arm. He should still be skating in The Maloof Money Cup. I wonder if his accident will be on Life Of Ryan.

Velocity team rider Corey Rubin went down to Arlington for the MASS contest this weekend. He came home with 2nd place in the pro bowl division and 1st in the 14-17 year old division. Corey’s footage for the next video is sick nasty so check back often for more.

I haven’t seen it yet, but Jim said there are 50+ videos and just tons of cool shit thrown in there (that’s why it’s taking a little longer to get up). David Gonzales is now pro for Flip. Flip said they are proud to sponsor such a talented kid, and that he has a combination of raw talent and a unique mix of style in every area of skateboarding. He has two signature models ready to be skated.

Lakai has a new website. The main purpose of the website is their ‘Election Series’. The candidates are Erik Koston, Mike Carroll, Marc Johnson, and Rick Howard. Voting begins on June 15th.

Krooked Skateboards and eS shoe rider Bobby Worrest has a new pair of pro model square one and prequel-mid. They are in his pro model colorways. Bobby’s also having a party open to anyone at the RockNroll hotel in Washington D.C. on May 17th to celebrate his new shoe.

Almost a year since his infamous slam at the X Games, Jake Brown is back on the mega ramp. Last week Jake along with Heath Kirchart of all people, made the drive down to Bob’s to get back on it.

Matix is coming up on ten years of business. To celebrate their tenth year they will be putting out a book title “This Is Progress”. Below is what SKATEDAILY.net had to say about this subject.

The Greenbelt Recreation Department is looking for a mature individual to teach a Skateboarding Class for our Summer Camp Programs. The individual must be 18 years of age or older and be able to teach the fundamentals of skateboarding to children, ages 8-14, in a FUN and educational manner. Must be able to work M-F, 3pm-6pm, June 16- August 15. Pay is $8.00 to $12.00/hour, depending on experience. This summers Wild Ride takes place on the East Coast. The Emerica team will be riding their Harley’s from skate shops to skate parks. Anyone and everyone is welcome to ride along with them on the tour for a day, a week, or even the whole event. The event starts June 10, 2008 in Easley, South Carolina, and ends June 20 at Sayreville, New Jersey. Then for more Emerica action the annual Wild in the Streets is June 21 (Go Skateboarding Day)  in New York City. For more info on the Wild Ride click here.

The guys over at skate daily are reporting that Crimson skateboards is over with. In the near future Kris and the team should be starting a new brand that Kris will be the sole owner of. I don’t know about you, but I’m not happy to hear about them getting screwed over by the other investor and I look forward to the next project.

Long time Birdhouse rider Jeremy Klein one of Birdhouse’s first pro’s has retired. After being pro for 16 years and putting out video parts in videos such as The End, The Beginning, and starring in Destroying America. Birdhouse has released a retirement deck of his first pro graphic in his honor.

I admit I was skeptical that this shit would ever show up, but finally on March 18th, 2008 the shipment arrived. This was the first shipment of Matix that the shop has ever received, and since it was a little late we did opt to not get very many sweatshirts and with exception to one style we barely got any.

Marc Johnson Signature Series: First lets talk, MJ, aside form some speculation in the shop most of the product with his name on it is fire. We got some corduroy pants, sweaters, short-sleeve no collar polos, and some MJ signature jeans.

Rick McCrank Signature Jeans: Without question one of the better looking jeans in the mix, comes custom with the shoelace belt with g-string protection haha.

Daewon Song Signature Jeans: The only black denim in the bunch, it’s a bit shiny but I haven’t personally tried them on so I am not sure how they feel.

T-shirts: Huge array of t-shirts from the all-over fire to the standard shit, we also have the MJ signature shirts as mentioned above. The shirts range in price because of the styles but overall I would say its a good selection of shirts and should be up to anyones tastes thats looking to rep some Matix.

Jeans: Overall the jeans look really fire, I have tired on a couple of pairs and there all relatively comfortable, I can’t say much about if they bleed while you skate yet since I just got myself a few pairs today, I do know that the slim-fit jeans are anything but, this is without question not a hesh company haha.

Hats: Couple of fitted hats and some flexfit as well, the styles are decent, if your looking for a hat we have a couple to choose from but it’s not a very large selection.

That about covers everything, we got a ton of it in today so for those of you that have been waiting as many years as I have for this shit to finally come to Velocity then go fiend and pick some up

After years upon years of struggle the first ever shoe has finally arrived at Velocity, can’t say I was all that optimistic considering the lack of contact we have had and the gloomy forecast of the ship dates, but the shit finally happened. We got in some Carroll’s and while it’s only one shoe it is a representation of the things to come, expect a lot more Lakai, DVS, and Matix to be arriving shortly.

Hope everyone had a good holiday and got a bunch of cool shit. I know a lot of you got boards at velocity, sorry that the selection kept getting less and less. For those of you that got some gift money though we did get Enjoi, Darkstar, and Almost boards in. For those of you that haven’t been up to the shop in a minute I suggest you stop in, especially if you have any interest in some of the years biggest skate videos. In the past week INHABITANTS the new Habitat film dropped as well as the highly anticipated Lakai Fully Flared DVD. For those of you that are curious, both films are fire, I suggest either one, and with the Habitat bonus footage both films will leave you entirely satisfied for the price of 30 bucks.

Now for the big news, for the first time ever Velocity is carrying Fallen Shoes and apparel. To be honest I didn’t think it was ever going to show up but I was wrong… finally. We have 6 new shoes to choose from, some of them look fairly legit while others I will leave up to the consumer to decide. We also have some Fallen apparel: wallets, belts, shirts, long-sleeves, sweatshirts, pants, and oddly enough some sweatpants as well. Those sweatpants are signature Jamie Thomas models, Lemaster says they’re straight but I think he’s crazy.

Come down and coop some new product, Christmas is right around the corner so we have been gearing up with a lot of clothes and shoes, hopefully the next batch of product is some more skateboards though.

Alright, so basically, Youtube is blowing it right now and refuses to let me upload anything on the velo account, however, I know that Youtube is conducting updates and some of the new features are bulk uploading and a new 1GB limit, that means quality will be much much better, but I don’t think this is available to browser related uploading. We went to the “Shop Of The East” contest today at Old School Skatepark. Mike, Sam, and Robb skated against shops from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania,New Jersey, and Arizona. This was quite an event and some great skating went down from many different skaters/shops. In the end the 3 guys that grew up skating the streets of SP together came out with the win and $500.

Hey everyone a big heads up, we just got in some new product fresh off the manufacturing line. Slave is distributed under Black Box but this is not a Jamie Thomas company. Slave is ran by a Black Box artist so some of the artwork styles will be familiar to some other Black Box products. The artist Ben Horton is the man behind the canvas and has quite the sick portfolio that you can check out on his website.

Currently Slave is only being offered in 3 stores across Maryland so we are very pleased to be among the 3 shops that Black Box has allowed to distribute this new product. We hope that fans of Ben Horton and Black Box will come and try out the new company and let us know how you guys like the new boards.

This Wednesday at 10:00 am the Sawmill Skatepark will reopen. Its up to everyone to try to keep it clean and free of spray paint. Those are the 2 things that county will use as an excuse to tear it down.

Sorry for the short notice but the county did not give us any time to get this info out there. This Wednesday at 6:00 there is a meeting at Sawmill to decide on the future of the skatepark. With budget cuts going on in the county the skatepark is on the chopping block, this is your opportunity to have your voice heard and save your skatepark. I know that the county councilmen are trying to blame this move on litter and spray paint, we all know thats a pretty lame excuse and that spray paint and litter are everywhere. We also know that there are plenty of tennis courts and other parks around that are nicer, cost more and do not get the use that the skatepark has gotten since it became free. I am working on a presentation for AA county to not only help save the skatepark but also improve it. I will not be able to make the meeting but I will have some people there to represent this shop. I have stats from the Bowie skatepark that show how many AA county residents are using the park there. I know I am not the only one that can not make it to the meeting because of the ridiculously short notice but I will be spending a lot of time trying to help this pathetic situation. I hope a lot of you can make this event if you cant please talk to someone who can. I have seen this type of thing happen in Bowie before and the end result was more money for the the old skatepark and then the new one.

After the game of skate Mike, Robb, Yuk, and I rolled up to Bethesda and had a little manual session. After a few hours and getting trapped in a parking garage we finished up the night with plenty of manuals.

Velocity Game of skate is coming up real fast and with almost little notice, I apologize for not getting this up earlier but I wasn’t really aware of the game of skate until the other day. Tell all your buddies to brush up on consistency of flatground and box tricks and let them know about the contest.

Deluxe order came in today adding even more decks to our wall, we are seriously out of space and it doesn’t help that everyone buys the Zeros on the floor. We got in a few Reals, and an Anti-Hero. Mike grabbed the Krooked so tough luck for everyone that wants Krooked boards :/.

Also all Thunder trucks are now $45 dollars, that means if you want those cool colored trucks you don’t have to pay extra for them anymore, we also got a few more of them in the Deluxe order so we have a good selection of previously more expansive trucks for the same price as the standard trucks.

Another note, Plan B stuff is supposed to be coming before the first Friday in June, I know a lot of people have been coming in about Plan B stuff so just hold out a little longer.

With orders coming in every few days the shop walls are packed full of skateboards. The 22nd brought Darkstars, Enjoi, and Almost decks. Not only that but we got the Almost Uber Light, a supposed unbreakable skateboard with Carbon Fiber and Carbon Foam that puts the price tag of this deck at $100 dollars, but if your looking for a better bargain the complete with the uber light is only $175, seems a little less steep when you consider your getting Trucks, Wheels, Hardware, and Barrings.

Today we got in a ton of Zero and Mystery decks, and as if theres not already enough boards on the wall were getting a Deluxe order in tomorrow which will bring about more Real, Krooked and Anti-Hero.

If your looking to buy a skateboard in the shop, theres never been a better selection of boards to choose from.

Just to give you an idea of how many boards are on the wall, I have everything as close as possible, even have 4 decks on the back wall and 10 more on the floor, so you have never in your life seen this many boards in here… come buy some zero decks now we only have like 30 of them haha.

So I got real bored and since we finally got the cord for capturing footage I figure I put the little bit of footage we got in Philly into a little montage. Robb, Mike and I as well as anyone else willing are hitting up Philly again this weekend and will hopefully be a little more organized and get some more stuff .

Most of the Real team went on  a week long trip to LA for a demo and filming. We will have to wait awhile for the next video but there is some throw away stuff featuring Justin Brock, James Hardy, Keith Hufnagel, Dennis Busenitz, Nick Dompierre, Ernie Torres and Damian Bravo.

Most of you are too young to know anything about Matt Hensley. Not only does Matt own Innes Clothing, but he also played in the band Flogging Molly. Here is the proof of Matt’s legendary status as one of skateboardings greatest, some of this is 20 years old. We have lots of new Innes stuff instock come on down and support a skater owned brand.

The rain didn’t stop the Supra Chad Muska demo in Vancouver. Like him or not you gotta admit most pros would not have skated. Look for the Muska Sky Top and Sky Low coming in soon.

Since so many of you are having problems with the velo trailer I put it up on google videos since youtube sucks and only lets you upload 10 mins and this video is 15 mins long. Hit up the video here, or you can just check the navigation on the side for the link.

This Thursday the Deluxe Tour is coming our way. If you want to get stuff signed come to the Bowie shop at 4:00, the Demo will be at the Bowie Skatepark at around 5:00. Come on out and support you local scene.

It seems that Justin Brock was taken off the Summer Comes Early tour because of a switch tre flip at his hometown skatepark. You can watch the footage here, but take caution, because it is Youtube.

I know we carried some 5boro products in the past and they are pretty nice, I’m wondering if we are getting any more stuff from them, but they just released this promo introducing Jimmy McDonald.

Jimmy McDonald has such a buttery style. Oh yeah, expect some footy of the Bowie Contest that went down yesterday.

Bowie Skatepark demo is coming to our door, while the dates were sort of sketchy we finally managed to get a date set this 10th. That doesn’t really leave much time for us to get the word out, but for those of you at the contest we will remind you there’s a demo in a week. The Demo is sponsored by DLXSF (ignore the fact that we’re not listed on there, we were added last minute) so that means we get a taste of a few companies at one time, among them is anti-hero, real, and krooked. The list of shredders is sick, so they’re sure to put on a good show, I don’t have the exact time of the demo so I will update you guys with that information when I get it. However based on the times of other demos I would say it’s save to assume the demo will be around 3-5 pm.

Among the riders coming to the Bowie Skatepark? Dennis Busenitz, Justin Brock, Nick Dompierre, Andrew Allen, Frank Gerwer, Bobby Worrest, and special guest Dylan Rieder. Word is that Justin Brock is out but there looking for a replacement. So yeah tell your friends and what not, let them know that there’s a skate demo going down May 10th at Bowie Skatepark.

Adidas has created a Youtube page that has some pretty good videos on it. We are thinking about getting the shoes in, I will let everyone know if and when that is happening.

The video of Pat Duffy breaking his leg on the mega ramp was on the show scarred. I can’t watch that show, but I wanted to see the Duffy slam. Anyone else that missed it, its available here.

For some reason I just don’t feel like heading to the shop and playing video games. There  is nothing good on tv so I think I might post a lot of links, yeah this site is not only somewhere for all of you to visit when bored its for me when I’m bored as well. Any way I was going to start out by telling everyone that Jeremy Rogers no longer rides for Girl. OK I guess I did start out with that. But what I was way more stoked on was finding the full Lost and Found video on the Blueprint site. Also there is some footage of Danny Brady and Nick Jensen that is well worth more than one watch. The rumors that are going around are that Jeremy will be on Plan B(makes sense to me) or Mystery(doesn’t make sense to me). As for Blueprint I think Robb said it best “they seem to have their act together” look for new stuff from them soon. Also coming in soon, like Thursday soon is new Krew stuff. Ryan Sheckler is now riding the best. Vox has added a legend and an up and comer to the roster. Looks like Krew has a nice new TF , Even Hernandez seems to like it. This next link may not be new but everyone should witness Billy Roper’s destruction of the Gold Rail.I guess thats it for now, stop in and say whats up.

The first shipment of Globe came in today. Mark Appleyard’s new shoe, the Vagrant is available in military green / khaki and black / charcoal.  This is a nice looking shoe  and it is getting great reviews. For kids there is the Vice SS in white / charcoal, a classic triple stitched model that should hold up through the hardest recess sessions.  New stuff just keeps rolling in. Today we got Etnies shoes, Blueprint/Popwar decks and few sets of trucks. Last week we got Krew and Supra. We still have plenty of Velocity decks but they are going fast. In the next few days we will receive decks from Baker, Zoo York,Plan B, Almost, Blind, Darkstar and Enjoi. Pro-Tec helmets, Trucks and Wheels (all brands) should also be here in the next few days.

Spring is here and things shoud be pretty good in the area. Greenbelt and Olney have both opened skateparks . We will be doing a contest at the Bowie park on May 6th (details very soon). The Dew Tour is coming to Camden Yards in June. The team has been filming so you can expect a new montage in the weeks ahead.

Real:

 Ernie Torres has been playing host and guide to a number of different

 teams while in the Phoenix area.  From filming a commercial with Girl

 for Panasonic, to showing the Vans team around to all the cutty ditch

 spots.  He just bought a 1966 Mustang and is looking to move to the

 Denver area pretty soon.  He’s filming for the Adio video, working on

 a interview in Thrasher magazine and filming for the full length Real

 video as well.  He’ll be in Spain with Adio from the 6th to the 18th

 of April, then he hits the road with Real touring through the Southern

 states.

 JT Aultz has just finished up a 20 questions with Transworld.  He’s

 been really busy, sitting on a ton of photos from his numerous trips

 with the Vox team.  His last one was a pure camping adventure while

 out in Australia for 2 weeks.  He’s filmed a part for the Vox video,

 he’s sitting down during the editing process as I type this.  He’ll be

 jumping into the Summer Comes Early tour April 23rd

 - May 6th.

 HUF has been busy with his shop, HUF.  He’s set to open a boutique

 style skate shop in San Francisco also.  He’s got a weekly skate day

 at the Dojo, Tuesday nights, where him and his employees and friends

 get their private shred on.

 Dennis Busenitz has been a busy man.  He recently got back from 

 Australia where he was killing whatever was put in front of him.  

 He finished a full Pro Spotlight for Transworld and it’s at the

 printer right now.  Fuel TV has an amazing episode of First Hand with

 Dennis as he travels on the road with his dog Gary from Kansas

 to Colorado to Reno, NV to SF.   His color way Gazelle from Adidas 

 hits shelves in just a few months.  And his ad campaign with them is

 looking sick.  EA has made him a character in their game SKATE as

 well.  And if you didn’t know, he got a well respected 3rd place in

 Matix’s line contest during the last ASR.

 Nick Dompierre is pro.  No sooner then his first pro board came out,

 he was on his first trip to Australia.  And as soon as we got back

 from down under, he entered his first pro contest, Tampa Pro 07. 

 Where he placed 4th among Koston, P-Rod,Jereme Rogers and Rick

 McCrank.  He’s crushing it.  He’s got a full part in Solstice’s Shop

 video.  Has photos in every skate mag out right now.  He’s also

 filming for a full part in the Adio dvd as well as the Real full

 length.  He’s jetting off to Spain, April 19th and getting back May

 12th, but before that he’s getting in the Deluxe van to head for the

 Midwest from April 9th to the 16th.

 James Hardy has been staying in Fallen’s team apartment, located at

 their indoor skate park, most likely making the hardest tricks seem so

 easy.  He’s getting big too.  At 18 years of age he’s easily 180 lbs

 and a solid 6ft.  Filming full time for a part in the Fallen DVD and

 for the Real full length, he’s staying busy.  Flying from China to

 Alabama and back out to Southern California.  He’ll be in our Summer

 Comes Early tour April 23rd.

 Justin Brock has an apartment in Atlanta with his friends, Krooked

 rider David Clark, Sturgil and Pat McClain.  These four kids are a

 part of the newest crew that rule the ATL.  Justin has a gnarly

 Spitfire head filleted into his flesh, I can show you the photos.  

 He’s been trying to lay low, as he’ll just keep going and going,

 giving him some time to catch up with friends and family in MT.

 Airy, NC.  He’s just signed on with Nike and CCS.  He’s stoked.  I was

 just told that he’s got a sick part coming along for Nike’s

 film.  His part in Southern Comfort is not to be slept on either.  

 He’s manning up taking on the Deluxe Summer Comes Early tour from

 March 31st until the wheels fall off.

 Chima Ferguson is Australia’s Slam Magazine Skater of the Year.  

 He’s been hitting it from all angles and locations, with Volcom and

 Vans trips abroad and the vast country of Australia to get what he

 wants to get handled, he’s on it.  He’s filming for a Volcom Australia

 DVD, set to head out for Thailand next month and then to the US in

 June.  He’s just getting started.

 Max Schaaf is building bikes.  He just stepped into a warehouse in

 Oakland that gives him enough room to step up his production in custom

 motorcycles.  He’s been getting alot of press on his style of bikes

 and builds.  You can catch him skating the Oakland house ramp on the

 weekends too.  Which is nice. 

Some of you may think this is some dumb footage.. but this dude is pretty sick. It’s like Ragdoll meets Bryan Frisbee..

Another Austrailian skater has passed away, Ben Pappas was found dead today. It is unclear if it was a murder or a suicide. Ben’s girlfriend was found dead 8 days ago and police had been searching for him since then. For those of you who dont know Ben was a dominant vert skater in the 90’s whose career was cut short due to drugs. Ben was 29 years old.

Last night after Ali Boulala’s motorcycle crashed in Austrailia Shane Cross is dead and Ali Boulala is in critical condition. For more info check the transworld site

I was super stoked to see that the latest addition to the new video game is Dennis Busenitz. I think its safe to say the Dennis flat out kills it. Last month at ASR his top speed runs got him 3rd place in the “Lord of the Lines” contest. Be on the lookout for the  “Remix Project” dvd that comes free with Real decks, his part is amazing.

Well the holiday season is over and we are at the begining of a new year. To start off the year we are offering 20% off all shoes in both locations. I had no idea people really take these things seriously. I also was unaware of the skatebarn west. In addition to learning that NC does not have the only skatebarn I also learned that the skatebarn west is home to some of the biggest kooks in the country. Yeah I must admit they are good at what they do, but who gives a flying f—–uck. ……..East Coast pride may be at an all time high.

The Blueprint team went on a seven day tour of the UK. The trip is over and the result is Big Push , a short video for online viewers. New decks and apparel form Blueprint should be here next week.

Recently, staff has noticed that some users of this facility feel as though
it is appropriate to dispose of their trash (water bottles, soda cans,
candy wrapers, etc.) on the ground rather than using the appropriate trash
recepticles that are provided.  Should you use this facility, please take
the time to dispose of trash in the appropriate recepticles, or if you see
another skater throw their trash on the ground, please ask that they
dispose of it properly.

Your assistance and dedication to insuring this facility remains an
attractive recreation site is greatly appreciated.

After going out of business about a year ago it seems that Rasa Libre is making a comeback. I talked to the guys at Deluxe and they say that  Nate Jones and Resse Forbes are still running things but Rasa Libre will now be handled over at I-Path. I will keep you up to date on when we can expect to see some decks.

Emanual Guzman, Alex Carolino, Alex Moul, and the rest of the Santa Cruz team. Have just finished a European Tour . Its good to see Santa Cruz is still going strong, if you are breaking boards a little too often maybe is time to try a  Santa Cruz Power Lyte.

A lot of people have come in and looked at some of the cruiser decks on the wall. Some have liked them, some have called them “old school” and some haved just hated them. For those of you that think these boards are for nothing more that cruising Check out James Hardy and come get a Zip Zinger, a Jason Jesse or a John Lucero.

Just got in the shipment of Es and Emerica for the Holiday season. 9 Boxes of fresh for the Severna Park Shop. Among the Es shoes we have the following: Accel, Square-One, Script, and Accelerate.

As for the Emerica’s we got nearly all pro-models so you can rock your favorite skaters kicks. We got the Reynolds 3’s in two colors, the Heritic 2’s and the Bryan Hermans. The Reynolds and the Hermans are two of the sexiest shoes to ever grace the wall. The Hermans are a sand color with some awesome cushioning inside. I would pick one up just to rock because they feel that good on your feet. As for the Reynolds it’s more of what you have come to expect from the shoe line. Has a very solid design, original colors, and some heavy duty material to keep your shoes intact for as long as possible.

Make sure to stop in fast though with the Holiday Season coming up a lot of these shoes might be gone real fast.

In celebration of Zero Skateboard’s 10 year anniversary, Black Box Distribution is proud to announce the release of the Zero Anthology DVD box set. The five disk set features: “Thrill of it all” (1997), “Misled Youth” (1999), “Dying to Live” (2002), “New Blood” (2004) and a new promo video featuring the entire Zero team with full parts from Garrett Hill and new pro Tommy Sandoval.

Previously unreleased on DVD, “Thrill of it All” and “Misled Youth” both contain special features and previously unseen footage. The Anthology box set is being made in limited quantities and will be available November 20th.
