We now have some new product from Globe. One new shoe with the rest still coming in, hats, pants, and t-shirts. Anyone who has been by the shop knows that the board wall is looking weak, so more decks are also on the way. I know we are getting Think’s in stock. So come on by the shop.

wallflier

Yup its that time of year again….out with the old in with the new. As we look around the shop and see the temperature start to rise, boards flying off the wall and everyone just going out to rip(sorry green) we realized its sale time once again. Starting Wednesday all leather belts(you know the ones that you look at but can’t shell out $30 for) are now $19.99, all sweatshirts and sweaters are 25-50% off. All jeans and dvds are 15% off, premium T’s are 20% off and all hats and shoes are 10% off(sale shoes you can take off an additional 10%) As for the end date lets go until close on Sunday, after that somethings may go back up but some should be extended. In the spirit of the sale and the great weather that we are having I am also taking this opportunity to announce a contest….yes a contest my ears are starting to bleed from all of the questions I’ve been getting about contests,no this contest will not be at the skatepark,it will not be organized or run by me, this contest is up to you, what ever you have bring it send it whatever.Skate something, build something clean something, help someone do what ever you feel like doing film it shoot photos bring witnesses I don’t care just get out there and make progress. Obviously there is no fee and this is open to everyone, I will have a nice prize pack for the winner(s) what that is I don’t even know yet but I don’t come cheap so trust me it will be worth it and the more people that get involved the better it will be. Let me know if you have any questions feel free to email me velocityskateboardshop@gmail.com. Lets start this thing right now and lets end it next Sunday 6/8. The only rule I have is no old bangers I don’t care what you did last week, month,or year, this is about today and tomorrow.

We still have some sweat shirts that are buy one get one free at the shop. Also there are still shoes on the wall that were selling with 30% off. There are also shoes on the ground ranging from $25.00 to $40.00. So stop by the shop while the sales are still going and save some cash, you need some money for gas at $4.00 a gallon.

We have a nice amount of boards at the shop right now. We just recently got in some more Anti-Heroes and a few boards from black box. Our grip tape selection is pretty good at the moment. We have jessup, true grip, and independent. So come on by and grab a fresh deck.

Welcome John!

It looks a little suspect to me but I did find this on the transworld site. It also makes sense with Arto leaving Etnies for Gravis and Burton buying Alien. But anyway the message below is supposed to be from Geoff Rowley…..Don’t know about the “x”

As from today, Arto Saari is no longer riding for Flip Skateboards, and has found a new home at Alien Workshop.

Everyone at Flip wishes Arto the best for his future with the Burton family, and are in total support of this move for him.

“Arto is like a brother to me. After years of being on the same team with the same goals it was time for him to move on. We remain the best of friends and will continue to skate together probably harder and probably more so than ever!!! I wish him all the best and as a brother, I shall always have his back”
