Hey everyone a big heads up, we just got in some new product fresh off the manufacturing line. Slave is distributed under Black Box but this is not a Jamie Thomas company. Slave is ran by a Black Box artist so some of the artwork styles will be familiar to some other Black Box products. The artist Ben Horton is the man behind the canvas and has quite the sick portfolio that you can check out on his website.
Currently Slave is only being offered in 3 stores across Maryland so we are very pleased to be among the 3 shops that Black Box has allowed to distribute this new product. We hope that fans of Ben Horton and Black Box will come and try out the new company and let us know how you guys like the new boards.
The new company consists of Jon Allie, Matt Mumford, Joe Goemann, Anthony Schultz, Pat Burke, and Conhuir Lynn. Mumford and Allie both have 3 pro models out, we expect to have just about every Slave board thats been produced in both locations within a day. For some of the board artwork check the following:

We didn’t only get decks in though we got just about everything the company has to offer from wheels to shirts and hats, the works. So if your down with Slave we will be one of your few sources and we have just about all the bases covered.

To check out even more of this new product be sure to come into either shop. Currently all of it is in Bowie but the shipment will be divided and in the Severna Park store within the day.
The Memorial service for Derek will be heald at the Robert Evans Funeral Home located on the corner of Racetrack Rd and rt 450 in Bowie on Wednesday at 9:00 am. We hope to see everybody there.
We have also set up a memorial fund you can donate to this at either shop or via paypal, the paypal e-mail is velocityskates@hotmail.com
Derek’s sister is working on a video tribute if anyone has any pictures or video please send them to her at aleks.gertz@gmail.com
